This very comprehensive 171-piece socket and bit set from Laser Tools (part number 6590) is ideal for the apprentice technician starting his professional toolkit, or for the dedicated enthusiast who demands the very best in high quality tools.

The three ratchets (1/2", 3/8" and 1/4" drives) all feature super-smooth 72 tooth ratchet mechanisms and the range of sockets included is impressive: 17 1/2"drive standard sockets (10-32mm); 5 1/2"drive deep sockets (17-22mm); 10 3/8"drive standard sockets (10-19mm); 6 3/8"drive deep sockets (10-15mm); 10 1/4"drive standard sockets (4-14mm); 7 1/4"drive deep sockets (4-10mm); and 13 star sockets (E4 – E24mm).

Socket accessories include: 2 x sliding T-bars, 1/2" drive and 1/4" drive; 4 extension bars (1/2" drive, 3/8" drive plus 2 x 1/4" drive, 100mm and 50mm); 3 spark plug sockets 16mm, 18mm and 21mm; 3 universal joints, one for each size of drive; 3 bit adaptors and 7 hex keys (1.3– 5mm).

Bits for numerous types of fastener: 30 1/4" drive socket bits (Phillips, PzDrive, Star, Star Plus, hex and flat); 20 1/4" shank bits (Star, Star Tamperproof, Ribe, and spline) plus 24 10mm shank bits (Star, Star Tamperproof, hex, flat, Phillips, and PzDrive). A handy driver for the shank bits is also included.

Manufactured from strong chrome vanadium with a smooth matt finish, the ratchets are beautifully balanced and a pleasure to use and all the sockets have knurled edges for quick spinning-on of fasteners.
