Generation 2 Wheel Bearing Installer / Remover Kit

This new range of kits for Generation 2 wheel bearings makes light work of removing or installing this type of bearing, which cannot be separated from the drive flange assembly. Should a Generation 2 bearing need replacing, the whole drive flange assembly must be removed and a new assembly fitted.

By using clamp collars and force pegs the tool ensures that the loads of insertion are taken only on the outer race of the bearing and the innovative design of the kit ensures that the job is completed quickly and easily. The range currently includes part no: 5473 (72mm for VAG), 5568 ( 78mm for Ford Focus II & C-Max), 5576 (62 & 66mm for VAG), 5582, (85mm for VAG), and the 5587 VAG Master Kit (62, 66, 72, 85mm).
