Mounted on a flexible shaft, the clamps are designed to hold two wires precisely and securely in position while you solder them or apply heatshrink. 

 

Move the 200mm long flexible shaft into position, then adjust the two little clamps to exactly where you need them. The magnetic base is very strong and will hold up to 2.3 kg (5 lbs). Can be set up on a metal bench, or in an engine bay or other areas on the vehicle when carrying out wiring repairs.
