New HGV and light commercial sockets from Laser Tools

Listening to customer feedback and specific requests from HGV and light commercial customers, Laser Tools has recently introduced a range of extra long wheel nut sockets for these vehicles. Manufactured in high quality chrome molybdenum these sockets (part numbers 6213 – 6218), are 400mm long for extra access. All are ¾" drive, the sizes are 24mm, 27mm, 30mm, 32mm, 33mm, 36mm and supplied in black phosphate finish for longer life.

A specialist ¾" drive socket has also been requested and this an impact socket in Star Plus EP32 format. Again manufactured in high quality chrome molybdenum with black manganese phosphate finish, this socket (part number 6377), is specifically for use on the mounting bolts on the axle of Mercedes-Benz Actros.

Two impact socket sets have also been added to the range for commercial vehicles; first is a deep impact set (part number 6409), with nine popular sizes in single hex format: 30mm, 32mm, 33mm, 34mm, 35mm, 36mm, 38mm, 41mm, 46mm x 90mm long in ¾"; the second set (part number 6410) is an extra long deep impact set (120mm) with seven popular sizes in bi-hex format: 24mm, 27mm, 30mm, 32mm, 34mm, 36mm. The set includes 3/4" to 1/2" drive adaptor (45mm long). Again both manufactured in ChMo with manganese phosphate finish.
