Reach difficult to access glow plugs with these compact specialist sockets

On some diesel engines access to the glow plugs is notoriously difficult and even after removing components it can still be a problem actually trying to get a spanner or socket anywhere near the offending glow plug. For the three most common sizes of glow plug (8mm, 10mm and 12mm), these three new glow plug sockets from Laser Tools (part number 5854 for the 8mm, 5855 for the 10mm and 5856 for the 12mm), are designed for the job.

Manufactured from chrome vanadium for strength, these sockets are 3/8" drive and have a longer socket depth than standard combined with the built-in off-centre joint to access the glow plug and offer a positive grip.
