Versatile new valve spring compressor

This new valve spring compressor from Laser Tools (part no: 5258) is designed to allow the removal of valve springs and valve stem oil seals with the cylinder head in place. The combustion chamber is pressurised using the supplied spark plug hole air line adaptor; this holds the valve in place during the valve spring compression operation.

Quick and easy to set up, with plenty of adjustment, two lengths of valve adaptor and two additional extension rods, the compressor is suitable for both single overhead cam and dual overhead cam engines.

Once the combustion chamber is pressurised the valve springs can be compressed and removed in seconds allowing easy access to the valve stem oil seals. Comprehensive and easy to follow instructions are included.
