Removing aluminium fork caps on Showa BPF forks
With their improved stability and better damping the Showa BPF (Big Piston Forks) front fork design is popular on sports bikes. Laser Tools have now brought out a specialist socket (part number 5507) to safely remove the BPF aluminium fork caps.
Also made from aluminium, the 5507 socket is designed for the 8 point 45mm cap as fitted to the 43mm forks. The hex drive is 17mm.
