Motorcycle swinging arm castle nut sockets
Laser Tools has an impressive and steadily growing range of dedicated motorcycle tools and recent additions include these six specialised castle nut sockets. They are all manufactured from medium carbon steel that has been heat treated then chrome plated. This gives the sockets terrific hardness and tensile strength and assures a long and useful life.
Part number 6174 is for the Suzuki SV650/1000, Dl650/1000,V-Storm plus some Hayabusa, B-King and GSX-R750/1000/1100 models. Owners of Kawasaki ZX6RR/6R 2003-2004, Z750 2004-2010, Z750S 2005-2006, Z1000 2007-2008, ZZR1200 2002-2003 models need the 6175. The 6176 is designed for the Kawasaki ZX12R 2001-2005. These three sockets are 1/2" drive.
The 6177 is for the Aprilia RS125 model, this socket is driven by a 19mm hex. Honda CB, CBX, CBR, GL, VFR, VT, Goldwing, Shadow and Magna series owners require the 6178 socket, this is a 1/2" drive. Part number 6179 is again for Kawasaki models: Kawasaki ZX6R (600) 2005-2010, ZX6RR 2005, ZX6R (636) 2005-2006, ZX10R 2004-2010 ,Z1000 2010, GTR 1400 2008-2010, ZZR 1400 2006-2010 and is also 1/2" drive.
