This tyre bead seater is ideal for use on cars and light commercial vehicles to help fit the tyre bead on the rim. Particularly useful where the volume of air that can be applied via the tyre valve is not enough to seat the bead correctly on the rim, and it fails to seal. This 6L tank can be charged using the workshop air supply, up to a maximum pressure of 145psi.

  • 6L air inflator tank, blasts air into the gap between tyre & rim forcing the bead to seat against the rim. For best results use in conjunction with a tyre inflator via the tyre valve.
  • Working pressure: 60 - 116psi (4 – 8 bar).
  • Maximum pressure: 145psi (10 bar).
  • Features: Automatic safety valve, trigger for air release, easy to read pressure gauge & supplied with a 1/4" BSP male standard airline adaptor.

Tyre bead seating can be a bit of a task at the best of times. It’s very important that the tyre bead is seated correctly for tyre safety and performance. The new compressed-air tyre bead seater from Laser Tools (part number 8771), is ideal for use on cars and light commercial vehicles to help fit the tyre bead on the rim. Particularly useful where the volume of air that can be applied via the tyre valve is not enough to seat the bead correctly on the rim and it fails to seal.

The tank has a 6-litre capacity and is easily charged using the workshop compressed air supply, up to a maximum pressure of 145psi. The safety valve automatically activates when the air charging reaches the maximum operating pressure.

Very easy to use — once charged, you simply aim the outlet nozzle between the tyre bead and wheel rim — before pressing the one-shot trigger and discharging the full charge of compressed air to instantly seal the bead. Then bring the tyre up to the correct pressure using your tyre inflator.
